Polo Ralph Lauren Utilizes Digital Signage In Window

Filed under: Digital Signage — Josh Coffman @ 11:23 am on Tuesday, August 8, 2006

WGN 9 Chicago reported on the news last night about a window application of digital signage being used by Polo Ralph Lauren.

In one of its New York stores, passerbys can touch the window and interact with a large projected image of Polo merchandise to view or even make a purchase.

This use of through-the-glass interactive technology is hoping to garner significant buzz and even increase sales, as shoppers can easily purchase when the store is closed. If successful in boosting sales or producing noteworthy buzz, Polo plans to roll the application out to other stores.
